Every fact on drumsets.org is read from the maker’s own page, manual or spec sheet and carries the date we read it. We do not test kits, so we never say we did.
What we use
- Manufacturer pages and manuals. The primary source for specs, what is in the box and whether a kit is still made.
- Named retailers, later. A price will appear only from a retailer’s product page, with the retailer’s name and the date. None is shown today.
- Outside reviews, later. We will link them and name the outlet; we will not present someone else’s testing as ours.
What we leave out
- Anything the maker does not state. An empty field means exactly that.
- Noise ratings. Makers publish statements, not decibel figures, so we quote the statement and say it is one.
- Prices without a dated source, ratings, and “best of” claims we cannot back.
When sources disagree
Some maker pages contradict themselves, for example a footprint that says it includes a stool the kit does not come with. We print what the page says and flag the conflict on the kit page.
How pages are made
Pages are written with AI help from the sources above and checked against them before they go live. The site is independent: no ads, no sponsored placement, no affiliate links today.
